Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah – A Grateful Look Back at 2025 and a Hopeful Step Into 2026
Published: December 23, 2025 | By Dean Burnette, Managing Broker at Best Business Brokers
If you’re reading this, chances are you’ve been part of our story at Best Business Brokers (B3) in some way.
Maybe you trusted us to help you sell your business.
Maybe you took a leap and bought a business through us.
Maybe you’re a lender, attorney, CPA, advisor, or industry partner who helped us get complex deals across the finish line.
Or maybe you’re a friend who simply encouraged us along the way.
Whoever you are, from all of us at B3: Merry Christmas and Happy Hanukkah.
In a year as full as 2025, those words carry a lot of meaning.
Looking Back at 2025 With Gratitude
When we look back at this year, we see more than transactions, closings, and listings. We see people and stories.
In 2025, we had the privilege of:
– Helping owners sell businesses they spent a lifetime building
– Watching buyers step into their next chapter with courage and excitement
– Working with lenders, attorneys, CPAs, and other professionals who stayed late, asked hard questions, and kept deals on track
– Expanding opportunities across Savannah, Atlanta, Macon, Charleston, and beyond in Georgia and South Carolina
From the family-friendly pub to the historic district goldmine, from a custom woodwork manufacturer to a campground and RV operations, every deal has reminded us why we do this work: to connect people with opportunity and help them move confidently into what’s next.
At the same time, it wasn’t always easy. Interest rates shifted. Markets moved. Some buyers got cautious. Some sellers had to make tough decisions. Through all of that, so many of you stayed in the arena with us.
For that, we are deeply thankful.
Why “Merry Christmas” and “Happy Hanukkah” Matter to Us
For many of us here at B3, this season is more than a holiday on the calendar. It’s a reminder:
– That faith, family, and community matter more than any deal size
– That every good opportunity, relationship, and result is a gift
– That light often shines the brightest when things are uncertain
As we say Merry Christmas and Happy Hanukkah, we’re also saying:
– Thank you for trusting us.
– Thank you for your patience when deals took longer than expected.
– Thank you for showing up prepared, honest, and committed to doing things the right way.

To Our Clients: Buyers and Sellers
If you sold a business with us this year:
– Thank you for allowing us into something deeply personal—your life’s work.
– Thank you for your transparency and your willingness to prepare, document, and stay engaged all the way through closing.
We know you weren’t just selling cash flow. You were selling years of late nights, payroll worries, hard decisions, and quiet victories. We don’t take that lightly.
If you bought a business with us in 2025:
– Thank you for your courage and your trust.
– Thank you for asking smart questions, listening to advice, and doing the hard work of due diligence.
We know you weren’t just buying an asset. You were stepping into a new identity: owner, leader, job creator, and community builder.
Whether you bought in manufacturing, logistics, technology, hospitality, industrial real estate, or commercial real estate, you are now part of the backbone of our regional economy. We’re rooting for you.

To Our Partners: Lenders, Attorneys, CPAs, and Advisors
If you work in lending, banking, SBA, law, accounting, valuation, or advisory services, you already know: no serious business sale happens without a team.
To all of you who:
– Ran numbers one more time
– Reviewed contracts line by line
– Guided clients through tax implications
– Helped buyers secure financing and structure deals wisely
Thank you.
When we say we aim to be the “Best” Business Brokers, we know that’s only possible because we work with the best partners. You’ve helped us protect our clients, avoid costly mistakes, and close transactions that truly made sense for everyone involved.
To Our Friends, Supporters, and Community
There are also many of you who:
– Refer buyers and sellers our way
– Invite us to speak, teach, or share our perspective
– Encourage us when the market gets tough
– Read our blog posts, open our emails, and share our listings
You may not be in the middle of a deal, but you’re part of the reason we get to keep doing what we do. Thank you for standing with us.
What We’re Grateful For This Season
As we pause for Christmas and Hanukkah, we’re especially grateful for:
– Faith – that anchors us when deals fall through or plans change
– Family – spouses, children, parents, and extended family who support the long hours and last‑minute calls
– Our team – from Savannah to Central and Western Georgia and into South Carolina, brokers and staff who show up with integrity
– Our clients and partners – the people who trust us with their goals, their capital, and their legacies
On a personal note, I’m grateful to God, who has continued to provide in ways far better than I would have planned myself—often in spite of my lack of faith, poor decisions, and imperfections. Time and again, He has met every need and reminded me that His plan is bigger than my own.
